Momoko Clothes, Spring Attire (part 1)

Perhaps it is my longing for warmer weather, but the bright colors and smaller outfits that show more skin really put me in a better mood. Here are a couple dresses/tops created out of a basic pattern I use often. I have a lovely dress with a floral print coming up very soon. Also, I've started up crocheting again for scarves and things for the dolls. Exciting!

Momoko Clothes, Variety

Since taking on another job, it has been difficult to keep up with all the sewing I'd like, but I'm still making a good effort. Below are some clothes I've recently made for the Momoko dolls. The Chanel blouse sold before I even had a chance to post it on the blog! I have some more designs to come, which will likely include new embroidery techniques.

Momoko Clothes, Dresses & Bows

Recently I was at a local second-hand store and found this darling little handmade bear. I knew it would be perfect with the Momoko dolls. I also finally got my new light box to try out some decent photography without having to wait for natural light and I used it for these photos. Overall, the new magenta gingham tube dress gets a great debut!

I'm still working on bookbinding, but I've just been busy lately.

Momoko Clothes, Spring Inspiration

The clothes I design for Momoko dolls seems to fluctuate back in forth between simple one-item tops to coordinated outfits. Lately, I seem to be making more of the full outfits such as the one below. I'm guessing I'm hoping for spring given the flowery print on the dress. The boots are a nice finishing touch on the outfit, but I think I could use some more shoe options. Also, a good set of nerdy glasses for my Momoko dolls.
