Dolls and Ceramics: Pukifee and Bunny Bowl

It was about time my little Fairyland Pukifee came out of the cupboard to take some photos. She is a darling ball-jointed doll with an amazing faceup by Viridian House. Her attire is largely AI BJD pieces. I find they fit pretty well and are good quality. Her wig is from a Liv doll.

The pot is a part of my bunny series — I combine old slip-casting molds with hand-built and/or wheel-thrown pieces. This little rabbit mold is from Riverview Molds and is labeled #332. I liked the bunny pose and thought it was great to have the creatures push their feet again the bowl. The bunny eyes are delicately painted with underglaze. The green and blue glazes are a mix, largely of recycled glaze from the studio spray booth.

RealPuki Gets a New Dress (or Two)

If you visit my Etsy page frequently, you may have noticed the occasional tulle dress pop up for PukiPuki and RealPuki dolls. It’s often challenging to sew something so tiny, but I love the little tulle dresses and feel compelled to make more. I am always on the hunt for remnant tulle and matching applique flowers to make more variations of this dress. A commission to make a few more of these came up recently and I just had to make some extra.

Pictured is my RealPuki ball-jointed doll (BJD), Titi. This Fairyland BJD is a well-sculpted super tiny doll with magnetic hands and feet. The doll is smaller than PukiPuki, Kelly, and similar sized dolls. The dresses made for RealPuki are more likely to fit Amelia Thimble and Petite Blythe.

Fairyland Nanuri 2008 Feeple60 Head for Sale

Another item up for sale is a Fairyland Nanuri 2008 Feeple60 head.  It is normal skin.  It doesn't have any uneven yellowing.  It appears the previous owner wiped a faceup and some pigment is seen in small crevices.  Sorry, no CoA with this item.  It is pretty hard to obtain a CoA when buying floating heads on the secondary market, if the CoA was even made by the company.  I planned on using this head with a body I have, but the fit did not work out.  It is $50 plus shipping from the USA.
