Calico and Lace Dress Set

I FINALLY finished a new set for Momoko! It sat around for quite a while because I really wanted to work on my tatting skills to add a little extra to the outfit. It turns out, I’m WAY better at needle tatting versus shuttle tatting.

The set comes with a beige coat with handmade tatted lace applique brooch, sleeveless calico print dress, underskirt, and purse with matching tatted lace applique. It fits a variety of fashion dolls, including Poppy Parker, Liv, Jenny, Tiny Kitty, and some Barbie sizes. I noticed it was sometimes difficult to get larger hands through the sleeves of the coat.

Momoko Dress Set with Vest

When I encountered this thin triangle print fabric, I knew I would want to use it for a small fashion doll outfit.  The fabric was made into this dress and I accompanied it with a matching light gray felt vest and cream organza underskirt.  The dress was made to accommodate a variety of fashion dolls including Momoko, Model Muse, petite Barbie, and tall Barbie.  It even fits Poppy Parker, Tiny Kitty, and Liv dolls (snug at bust).  Get it here in the shop, while supplies last.

Momoko Calico Dress Set

It feels like it took me ages to finish this wonderful set, but it was worth the wait.  I found this calico print in my stash of fabric and wanted to make a simple Momoko dress out of it.  The dress has pintucks in the skirt and an unfinished ruffle on the bottom.  The cardigan is light blue with navy blue trim hand-sewn along the neckline.  To finish the outfit, I attached a gold dragonfly to the cardigan.

The set also fits a variety of other dolls, including Poppy Parker, Misaki, Jenny, Liv, Tiny Kitty (pictured below), Victoire Roux, and Color Infusion/Jem.  Grab one in the shop while they're still available.

First Momoko Digital Pattern

In the recent months, I was focusing on digital PDF patterns for ball-jointed dolls.  Not too long ago, I finally finished a pattern for Momoko dolls.  It's a simple set, but I think using striped fabric looks great for the blouse.  I tried the outfit on a variety of other dolls and it is confirmed to adequately fit Pullip, J-doll, Tiny Kitty (very snug), Petite Barbie, Pure Neemo (all bust sizes), and Jenny.
