Well, I'm back from IFDC 2013 and it's time to get back to business. This lovely OOAK Momoko, made by yours truly, was originally Sekiguchi Wake-Up #006. After having quite a fun time restyling her hair and adding a white flower, I added darker black eyeliner and pink fingernail paint. Her gown is made from a pale blue acetate-like fabric with beading and flowery applique. To put it all together, she has a bit of white fur to put over her shoulders. Perhaps from here on out we will see more fancy up-dos and flowing gowns on this blog more often. What do you think of the doll? Post about it on the Facebook page.
Momoko Wake Up Doll Special (WUDsp) is finally here! She is currently the only Wake Up Momoko with tan skin. The Wake Up dolls usually come with some kind of pajamas or sleepwear, but this Momoko seems to be wearing a fabulous floral print dress with matching underwear. Perhaps it is her slumber attire? I wish I had a wardrobe of these great dresses to wear to sleep!
Please see the photos to catch a glimpse of WUDsp outside of her stock photos. It certainly could be just me, but it seems like her lip/eye shadow color is a tad lighter and makes it stand out all the more on her tanned skin. She will be a highly coveted doll in this household.
Below are pics of the new Momoko Wake-Up dolls 15 and 16, which introduce the shortest haired WUD Momoko to date. Her hair cute is quite darling. I also noticed the face paint on both WUD is exactly the same. Support an artist! Visit my Etsy Shop. You can also follow my Twitter, Facebook, and Pinterest pages. Another round of Momoko wake-up dolls and I was certainly excited when they arrived in the mail. These dolls are a little different than all the other wake-up Momoko to date because they have eyes that look to the right. There are only a few Momoko that have eyes looking in this direction, but it seems to be making a comeback. Also, I noticed on WUD14 (reddish hair) that the pupils of the eyes have a grayish gradation that moves from the bottom to the top. I tried to provide a good picture of it (below). If you are interested in buying one, maybe this will sway you one way or the other.

In adding to the Momoko collection, below are some pictures I took of the most recent Wake Up dolls (WUD). WUD011 has shorter hair, which is new for the Wake Up dolls. Both new dolls also have the fuller lip painting as seen on City in the Sea. I've noticed the fuller lip painting seems to be pretty popular. The little satin rompers are pretty adorable too. Personally, my favorite of the two new WUD would probably be WUD011 since she is a little unique with the short hair and face paint. I'm also a sucker for shiny silver things, like her romper.
