This is a handmade outfit inspired by the Mad Hatter from Alice in Wonderland. This Mad Hatter loves her hats and French couture. She is certainly mad… for fashion. I recently finished the outfit and am quite proud of it. My Momoko dolls are becoming more fashionable by the day. Hats are certainly a challenge to make.

Mostly just playing around with patterns, I came up with this piece for the Momoko dolls. Personally, it is no where near my favorite outfit, but it deserves recognition nonetheless. Since it is not high on my list of loveliness, I've decided to sell it at discount on Etsy.

With light blue fabric and delicate lace, I made another Alice in Wonderland inspired outfit. I considered making a jacket or shawl to go with the dress, but it just looked so darling I didn't want to distract from it. The photos were taken in the lovely morning sun.

Since I took a trip to the coast this weekend, I thought I'd bring a Momoko doll dressed in a new outfit I just made. The pictures were taken at Point Lobos in California. The fabric used for the blouse comes from a human-sized blouse that looks very similar (minus the bow and fancies). The photos came out so wonderfully that I want to go to the coast more often to take pictures of the dolls.
