Alice, Out of the Box

Check out this great Alice in Wonderland inspired book, Alice: Out of the Box, by Alison Boyd Rasmussen of Fashion Doll Review. Alison decided to make my day and put a couple of my retired Alice designs are in the book. On Amazon, you can even search the book (and find some of my designs). The book shows a diverse group of Alice outfits for a variety of dolls, providing lots of inspiration for doll collectors and Wonderland fans alike.

Queen of Hearts and More

Below are some images of my new Queen of Hearts/Red Queen outfit based on the character from Alice in Wonderland. Also, I recently did a commission that turned out pretty great and makes me want to make razor back tank tops now.

Momoko Clothes, Lacy Dress & Alice

Below are some images of my recent creations, one of which sold out at IFDC. The cream-color dress is probably one of my favorite dress designs to date. The second is called "Today's Alice," providing a modern touch of Alice in Wonderland. I hand-printed the bunny on the purse. I recently inherited around eight boxes of fabric, so I'll be pretty busy!

Momoko Clothes, Fun Outfits!

After working on many different ideas, I finally came up with these two darling outfits. The first is another of my Alice and Wonderland inspirations of the Cheshire Cat. While using my typical black and magenta for Cheshire Cat outfits, this time I went for a punk/goth look. The Cheshire Cat graphic on the tube top actually comes from an illustration by John Tenniel from Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland (1898). The second outfit was inspired by some pom poms I picked up at a local store. Also, I've been trying to experiment with different types of embroidery for doll clothes and I did the white thread embroidery at the bottom of the oversized sweater. Overall, I think these outfits turned out quite well.

Also, I'm going to be at IFDC this year with a sales table. If you are going to be there, be sure to stop by and check out lots of clothing designs and better sales than normally in my Etsy shop.
