New Designs for SD BJDs & Momoko

As I gear up for IFDC, I've been trying to make Momoko outfits that can more easily accommodate other 1:6 scale dolls.  The Momoko outfit below is one of them, which I think turned out pretty well.  I also made this darling pale pink dress and tweed cardigan with some embroidery and beading.  I'm glad I made two, because I definitely want to keep one of these.  I also noticed that I've had a big thing for pin tucks lately.

Branching Out to Different Dolls

For a while now I've been collecting other popular dolls so I would have models for other clothing fashions. Below are some clothing designs I've recently produced for large BJDs (58 cm) and smaller ones (Tiny Betsy McCall sized). I'm really enjoying making different sized outfits.

Peaks Wood's Goldie and Yeru

Not too long ago I decided to take the plunge into owning ball jointed dolls (BJDs). After buying my loved uber tiny Honee-B by Ruby Red Galleria, I wanted to go the completely opposite route and buy a very large BJD, a Peak's Woods Yeru. Beware -- Going onto a site to order a BJD may result in multiple expensive purchases! Well, I couldn't just have one doll, so I also got a Goldie. Below are pictures I took either immediately or shortly after their arrival. Be prepared to see a lot more BJD clothing available in my Etsy shop.

Matching Momoko & Honee-B

Recently, I discovered this navy polka dot fabric and thought it would make great doll dresses. I took it a step even further and made dresses for different kinds of dolls, so now they all look like they are matching! I think I inspired myself to do a whole new set of doll clothing.
