It has been an interest of mine to get into making one-of-a-kind (OOAK) dolls and I finally managed to make another OOAK Momoko. The doll was a gift for a friend for her birthday. The Momoko is originally the fan vote Momoko of 2007 (sometimes referred to as Military Fan Vote). Streaks of blonde were added to her hair and her eye makeup was redone to include gold eyeshadow and a cat eye look. I also painted her fingernails and toenails. I cannot take credit for the kimono, which was purchased on eBay (user silkdryflowers013). I made the obi jewelry to give it a final touch of gold glamour.
MegannArt on Instragram!
It's been a while since I've posted on my blog; however, I have been trying to post quite a bit on Instagram since I started my account almost 2 months ago. It's a smattering of things, but you'll find quite a few dolly photos, like the one of my new Unoa pictured above.
The Unoa is a Grade B Ange, faceup by Noctural Doll. I have several face plates for her and I know I'll love swapping them out as soon as I get faceups for all of them. She has a large bust and is wearing an outfit from Daphne Dimples Silver Sensation. It's a snug fit, but it fits.

First Momoko Digital Pattern
In the recent months, I was focusing on digital PDF patterns for ball-jointed dolls. Not too long ago, I finally finished a pattern for Momoko dolls. It's a simple set, but I think using striped fabric looks great for the blouse. I tried the outfit on a variety of other dolls and it is confirmed to adequately fit Pullip, J-doll, Tiny Kitty (very snug), Petite Barbie, Pure Neemo (all bust sizes), and Jenny.
Sweet Olive in Code Noir
As a gift for my birthday, a friend of mine gave a wonderful doll to me, Sweet Olive by Blue Fairy. Her resin is white skin. It sounds like she may have been a limited edition doll. I think she is such a cutie! I'm a fan of those sleepy eyes.
Sweet Olive is wearing an outfit, shoes, and wig by Code Noir. This outfit is wonderful. There is so much detail in every clothing piece. Personally, I'm a huge fan of their mohair wigs like the one Sweet Olive is wearing. If you have a chance, check out the Code Noir USA website for current designs and in-stock items.
Will It Fit: Only Hearts Club on Momoko
A couple years ago, I picked up a clothing set for Only Hearts Club dolls at a local craft store and wondered if it would fit any of the dolls in my inventory. I tried the clothes on a Momoko doll and they fit fairly well. The clothes are a bit snug and look like cropped attire from another decade, but they can make good mix and match pieces. My personal favorite are the Only Hearts Club shoes, which are pliable and easily slip on to Momoko feet. I'm also impressed with the detail on the shoes.
