Site for Doll Sales: Mister Dollface

mister dollfaceWith the Doll Page Show and Sell gone, where do we go to sell our dolly things?  Well, it's Mister Dollface.  Just like the Doll Page, this website is free to sell your items.  It certainly beats all the fees associated with selling on eBay.  Browse the great items available on Mister Dollface and help it grow!  It seems to gain more and more users everyday, but your support would be great. I have some of my own items on the page (found here) and will probably add quite a bit more in the coming weeks as I thin out my collection.  I've seen sellers posting all kinds of great things, including one of my grail dolls, the Queen V Veronique Integrity doll (Dolly Bird anniversary exclusive).

In Real Life: Momoko ae First Love

A lovely new Momoko arrived at my front door a couple of days ago and she deserves her own special post.  The ae STB First Love Momoko is really something special with her darling corset and honey face.  Anyone who knows me well is pretty aware of my need to collect dolls in white/off white clothing, so this doll was a must-have in this house.  Her simple makeup is really a great match too. What do you think of the Momoko?  Post about it on the Facebook page.

In Real Life: Momoko ae "F.L.C. 2013"

The PetWORKs Momoko ae "F.L.C. (Four-leaf clover) 2013" arrived in the mail yesterday and I wanted to take the time to post some non-stock photos of her.  I know I often say a particular Momoko is really great and is at the top of my list of Momoko, but this one might be pretty close to first place. She has beautifully cut clothing; both hard with the leather jacket and boots, and soft with the little lacy dress.  The paint on her lips is thinly painted compared to most honey faced Momoko, but it works great.  I think the doll lip paint is actually more salmon-pink than the promo photos.  Her lighter colored hair is much more obvious in the back, since the darker rooted hair appears to follow the crown of her head.

I might be selling off a bit of my Momoko collection soon, but this one is a keeper!  F.L.C. always does beautiful work.  What do you think?  Post about it on the Facebook page.

Exploring the World: Dolls in Croatia

Back in September, I had the opportunity to travel to Croatia.  While traveling along the Dalmatian Coast, I was on the lookout for dolls and I found a couple different dolls in some shops in Hvar and Dubrovnik.  There was a shop with many plastic dolls on a spinning rack and each seemed to have a little different flair to them.  My fav had to be the girl with glasses.  I also noticed a ceramic doll-like figure during my travels that I thought was quite lovely. Travel dolls also came with me to Croatia.  Below are two Momoko posing at Diocletian's Palace in Split.

What do you think?  Post about it on the Facebook page.
