Some New Outfits

After going through my recent blog posts, I realized it has been quite a while since I've posted any of my dolly designs. I originally set up this blog to be a MegannArt Momoko doll attire showcase, but it has evolved over time. Regardless of this blog's evolution, I'm still bringing you fun designs made by yours truly. See some recent designs below, some of which were during a photo shoot while on the east cost (Virginia) for Thanksgiving. Spoiler alert -- you might see some of the below designs in a pattern book released in the next year! I'll likely be picking up the pace with my clothing designs, so prepare to see a lot more volume in the Etsy shop in the near future.

Momoko Wake Up Doll, Special

Momoko Wake Up Doll Special (WUDsp) is finally here! She is currently the only Wake Up Momoko with tan skin. The Wake Up dolls usually come with some kind of pajamas or sleepwear, but this Momoko seems to be wearing a fabulous floral print dress with matching underwear. Perhaps it is her slumber attire? I wish I had a wardrobe of these great dresses to wear to sleep!

Please see the photos to catch a glimpse of WUDsp outside of her stock photos. It certainly could be just me, but it seems like her lip/eye shadow color is a tad lighter and makes it stand out all the more on her tanned skin. She will be a highly coveted doll in this household.

Two.S.Doll Vivi

Perhaps I went a little overboard in 2012 with the BJD purchases, but after a little browsing on Mint on Card, I couldn't pass this doll up.  She is an SD sized BJD named Vivi from Two.S.Doll.  Her stock pics have a face-up quite a bit different from the one I received, but she still aims to please with her loveliness.  It is my first very busty SD BJD, which is nice to get a better perspective on the range of doll sizes for all the SD clothes I make.  She is currently wearing a DollHeart dress that I think was originally meant for slimmer SD sized dolls.  The dress is too small at the bust and does not fasten. What do you think of Vivi?  Post it on the Facebook page.

She will have plenty of new wigs and whatnot soon.  Look out for her in the Etsy store modeling new clothes in the future.

Christmas for Honee-B

Who has an awesome mom? I do. I'm living proof that an Etsy favorites list pays off. Pictured is my Honee-B leaning against a box I helped my mom pick out for Christmas. Little did I know she was going to stuff that cute box with fun things like dolly clothes. My Honee-B is wearing two absolutely fabulous outfits by Crazy Handmade on Etsy. These outfits also fit dolls such as pukipuki. The detail is really amazing. I almost feel like giving up on making such tiny outfits when such talent is in the world. Support an artist! Another Custom Wig

Recently, I made a new wig for my Peppermint Asleep Eidolon, but I found some new doll hair at a local second-hand store and decided to make her another wig. I'm not sure what kind of hair it is, but I have attached a pic of the package, originally made in Virgina Beach. The new wig has longer hair, which I may trim to even it out a bit. It reminds me of a blond version of that beautifully crazy hair of Merida from Brave. Perhaps I should find some pretty red hair and have my own little Merida. Look out for that little outfit she is wearing. It will be appearing in the Etsy shop very soon. I'll be doing quite a bit of 16 cm doll clothing from here on out.
