Pretty in Pink

Next week I will be attending the Pacific Northwest BJD Expo (aka PNW Expo) and I'm bringing this lovely outfit with me.  It's a pink dress for MSD ball-jointed dolls.  It also fits Ellowyne Wilde and a variety of other dolls.  I love the sparkle and beading!  Only one extra was made and will be sold at the PNW Expo.  If unsold, it will pop up on Etsy soon.

Perhaps it is too much pink, but I just couldn't help adding all the pink pieces to the doll.  Pictured is Peak's Woods Lady Bee (older body).

Momoko Pattern in Dolly Bureau Volume 1

Dolly Bureau books have a few patterns for Momoko, but I think this is one is my favorite.  The set is a jacket, skirt, and blouse.  It can be found in volume 1 of the Dolly Bureau series.  The Momoko pictured is Beach Rodeo.  She is also wearing glasses by Randall Craig.  The book is still in print and you can make the outfit too!  See below for more details.

Pattern in Dolly Bureau Vol 3 for PukiPuki

In Dolly Bureau (vol 3), I made a few patterns for tiny dolls, one of which is a design for PukiPuki.  Pictured below is the final result of the pattern, which has easy-to-follow written and illustrated instructions in the book.  Best of all, the clothing should fit other dolls like Mattel Kelly and Ruby Red Galleria's Honee-B.

Drafting Pattern in Dolly Bureau Volume 3

The most recent installment of Dolly Bureau volume 3 focuses on tiny dolls, but some of the crafts and sewing patterns can be used for dolls of multiple sizes.  The picture below is a drafting dress pattern that would use a combination of knitted and tulle/lace fabrics.  Dream High Studio's Lulu is pictured.  She's so tiny!
